Mission & Philosophy

Mission

It is the mission of Page Learning Academy, Inc. to provide a safe, nurturing, and healthy environment which fosters children's social, emotional, cognitive, and developmental growth; as well as, a love of learning through a developmentally appropriate "child centered" curriculum.

Philosophy

Our Educational Philosophy is based on Jean Piaget's Theory of Development in young children. This theory emphasizes interaction between child and others, the child and his/her environment, and the child's previous experiences. We utilize the "Creative Curriculum" (Piagetian Framework). These curriculums are values based and address the cultural, linguistic, and ethnic diversity of the children we serve.

We believe a quality Preschool education is essential to a child's academic success and should be available to ALL children.

Student achievement is our top priority and all of our program goals are designed to enhance each child's maximum potential.

Page Learning Academy, Inc., is a 501(c) 3 non - profit

corporation in the State of California.

The Infant-Preschool Program is funded by the

State Department of Education, Early Learning and Care Division.

Health & Safety

Page Learning Academy, Inc. is closely monitoring the evolving news and information on the spread of

COVID-19, in the Los Angeles area.

The Health & Safety of our staff & children is very important to us. For this reason, each person that enters our campuses must have their temperature checked and recorded for tracking.

We sanitize after each activity, wipe down our play equipment, tables, and ensure that our young scholars wash their hands often.

Continue to follow the guidance of health organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Los Angeles County Department of Health, which include regularly washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoiding unnecessarily touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, covering sneezes, and coughs with a tissue or a sleeve, and staying home when sick and until 24 hours have passed after a fever, without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
